No one ever sells anything they enjoy and want. Getting used is getting problems that people don’t want. Especially on the higher end. Like Viking. When people have problem free things that perform well, they don’t get rid of them.

You’d do better to look for scratch and dent. And reign in your I want list. Design for the life you actually lead. Not the fantasy life in your head that is out of budget.

I agree with the others. I would just purchase new. Think about how you cook. What is it about those upscale brands that makes you want one? It is too risky, imo, to purchase an appliance that is used. How do you know that it's working properly?

Work with your budget and purchase new.

Are you looking at all gas or dual fuel? There are way too many things to go wrong with dual fuel because they are generally run with computer boards.

Are you familiar with past issues with any of these brands? Do you know what models had issues?

Can you look a range over and see things that would be easy to fix vs things that would make it a deal breaker?

Do you know what the requirements for ventilation are? Size of the hood, make up air?
