Some samples to inspire you. My somewhat rebuilt collection, after having given away 1/2 my C&S collection after a false scare that I might have to move.

One of the most unusual of the bunch here on the far left, I think it's S. francisii. I'd seen a tiny one of these at Norma's house so I immediately recognized its unusual looking form, which I refer to as shrubby. I scarfed it up for a song. Like living sculpture, I just love it.

Or perhaps this odd looking character sitting on the stereo. Meyer Mike said it reminds him of the hat on the Joker in a deck of cards.

So many Sans. to grow, so little space.

Thanks for the pics - yes, they make me want to start collecting them once more. When we lost our furnace the few I had were exposed to subfreezing temps for too long. Someday, when I'm not busy with getting lilacs and cold-hardy Sedums into the ground, I simply must get a few again.
