Hello!

We recently remodeled our bathroom and now notice when we take a shower, water leaks into the basement. When we took baths, there was no leak. After investigative work, we determined that when we switch the water flow from the tub to the shower, the water pressure backs up from the tub spout and runs down the wall into the basement. We took the spout off the tub and can't figure out what is causing the issue. We think the copper pipe is not sealing properly in the spout. The spout is a Delta Monitor In2ition Shower with a Multichoice Trim Kit. Our pipe from the wall is copper. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help!
