We have some Romeo & Juliet cherry bushes. This is the first year that they have produced fruit. We‘ve noticed that on one bush (I think the Romeo but I’m not sure), nearly all the cherries themselves have brown spots on the bottom part of the fruit. I‘ve cut cherries open and didn’t see any worms or other bugs. Does anyone know what this might be and if the cherries are still safe to eat?
