Aha, so this is the ‘ugly plant’ from your other post. I think it was correctly identified, amazingly, by macranthos as Euphorbia lactea 'Cristata' f. variegata

Dave, though I've not been on The Tube, I'd recognize that bit of cleverness anywhere. I tried to steal it, to no avail. Any chance of educating me on how to, please?

The plant is exceedingly well-grown. Though not wanting a lot of water (and Thailand being a tropical country), I'm always amazed at their Ariocarpus specimens and how lush they are.

I just repotted mine which is about 2/3 that size. I couldn’t believe how heavy it was. Just laying it down to cut the old pot off caused it to bleed. Jeff’s (cactusmch’s) pic of the prizefight he lost with E. lactea was vivid in my mind. I kept repeating “Don’t touch your face, don’t touch your face”. Someone overhearing me likely thought I was doing some sort of Covid-19 mantra.

Maybe because the photo that included the ID'd euphorbia was so shaded and not in sufficient detail to make any ID easy??

The ‘amazingly’ was one of admiration. The previous picture was well nigh invisible but that was no barrier to your skills.
