Redwood siding

I am remodeling a home with vertical redwood siding. It was installed 30 years ago and was cleaned one time. It currently has some black stains and looks too dark. What is the proper maintenance for this product. If I wanted a lighter look is there anyway to treat the wood?

Could you post a picture . But you could use Benjamin Moore's arbor coat products restore if it uv damaged then hit with brighten or if there's a stain on it then use the remove
