Help with Entryway Design

We have a small entryway where i have put a bench to sit while putting on shoes. The wall behind the bench is what im focusing on primarily to highlight. I have a boho/indian colorful theme, colors are my thing.

Im dabbling with two ideas. If someone could photoshop and share how these would look, i would appreciate that. Any other ideas are more than welcome.
Idea 1. To paint the wall behind the bench in fuschia color (fuschia semi-gloss and then stencil on it with same color in flat finish) and add a round mirror with golden finish

Idea 2. Leave the paint white and make it an accent wall by decorating it with a big mirror or some big gold/brass metal decor.

Love the bench seat, either mirror or big bright artwork, paint your door to balance it perhaps and maybe a carpet runner

You definitely need some height. I would not paint the wall in a smaller hall. Huge mirror above bench.

Would you consider switching out the nipple light for a Moroccan-style light? It would suit the space better, I think.

I unfortunately dont have photoshop skills but I like bot ideas. I would also swap out your light fixture to something more your style. a fuschia rug would look great too. love the idea of painting door too. if you make those changes, you may not need to paint the wall.

I love the bench, but the pillows don’t go well with the bench.l think solid pillows

would be better, pull out the pillow colors from the bench.

Also, I think the books on top of the basket looks forced...Look for a nice little

table and then you could include some books and your plant. I love little

    tables and have several...

When you guys say paint the door, you mean the closet door, the one opposite the bench or the main door with glass insert?

@Anna yes i do plan to switch out the light fixture with something flush to the ceiling. I like the idea of the Moroccon lamp
    Thanks :)

Why are the mirrors so darn expensive! 😁

I think considering the whole space may be helpful. Would also be careful not to make it feel too themed so it works with your home’s features, but it can still be colorful and you mentioned boho/east Indian was your look.

Would remove the small plants and add one large one in a colorful pot next to bench and would remove cushions. Sort of the feel below and you could find some great prints and frame them using large matts and compliment with a vintage looking rug

perhaps change light fixture down the road

What about stenciling over the white? That way, it’d look more cohesive with the rest of the space, but could still be colorful and highlight the bench area. Did you already have a stencil pattern in mind? If not ....

I searched ‘boho wall stencils’ and lots of ideas came up. Ikat patterns are very classic boho:

Pretend this is on a white wall. :)

Love the idea of browns with your colorful pillows, bench, etc:

And as mentioned, a rug, a great mirror, light, etc. Hope you’ll update us, this looks like a fun project. :)

Personally I could see a big woven macrame wall hanging there, they sell on Etsy, amazing art pieces

I ordered this mirror to go over the bench, horizontally most likely.
