I may be wrong but it looks to me like the potting soil in your picture is still really wet under the top few pieces of dried out bark. If it was mine I would put it in the shade to rest and not water it for a while. Others may have some different suggestions too.

Agree that the reflected heat off of that wall is probably not helping. Other than that a key point will be if the plant became infected by water molds while in the stagnant planting site - try looking on the web using "phytophthora root rot" for information on how to tell if the appearance of a plant's roots suggests this is present.

Does that pot have real good drainage holes? Is the pot sitting directly on the ground? Make sure the pot drains well and get it up on blocks or something so it can drain freely to give the roots a chance to dry out a little. Water only when the pot is dry several inches down. Do not fertilize it until you see new growth and then only at half strength.

On the drainage... the pot has good drainage holes but Im going to set blocks underneath.
