Your Sieboldana Elegans and Paradigm look like they came from my yard. Mine are the same size and have the same coloration —- as well they should!! :-)

Do you add at will? Do you happen to know what your soil pH is? I wonder if I can replicate. I have cheated iron but always thought it is a pH thing and not Iron itself.

I add the fertilizer mix randomly, I dont measure the pH ( same as my fish tanks) it is what it is. I would imagine with the amount of hemlock mulch I've added over the years it might tend to be slightly acidic. Every spring around the end of April when the bullets start showing themselves I dose pretty heavy with an 18-18-18 pellet type fertilizer I get in 25kg bags from the farm supply store. And I water alot.
