So happy with this tub!

So this isn’t a paid endorsement but during our house build I searched all over looking for real reviews on freestanding tubs. I really couldn’t find a lot of info so I did my own-This Kohler Abrazzo tub may have been a touch more modern as far as looks go, but it won hands down for comfort. I tried out many on showroom floors and while I loved the look they just were horribly uncomfortable. This was love at first try! It’s got lumbar support and as a true soaker this was worth every $$$. Not the cheapest by far and it weighs over 550 lbs(you should have seen us getting it in here!) but I budgeted elsewhere to get my dream tub. Anyway just for those on the hunt this tub is fabulous!!

It’s very pretty, but I can’t deal with trying to clean behind it.

Yikes, the price is the allowance for tubs in my entire house. it looks nice though. I hope you got at least 40% off list at Kohler.

I like the small footprint and the shape.

We looked at that .... these Kohler AbraZo's appeared to us as super overpriced.... There are better soakers... and again I agree with @Shola Akins I hope you get at least 40% off.

For all of those that complain about cleaning behind them, that is what a Swiffer is for. I do not see the big deal.

Dusting around my top mount whirlpool is a pain in my A@@. I have to get in the tub and dust the tub rim and the deck. Grrrrr!!

Agreed RNmom-the first time I cleaned behind my tub I was like, my corner spa tub was harder to clean than this in my old house. I think some people just get hung up on one or two talking points and can’t let it go!

Looks great! Wonderful to get feedback on products. Thanks!

I'm no longer in the market (have a different soaker) but agree with you about tubs - a good one is worth its weight in gold!! Not everyone is a tub person but if you are then you get it.

DLM2000, AGREED-it was one of my number one pre-requisites for the new build! That and a sink w window overlooking yard and a bigA pantry and master closet!!Thx for “getting it!” Lol

Shola and BT, what type of vendor is the best to seek out for that 40% discount? Any negotiating tips?

@KellieSmith... actually my local plumbing supply offered it when pricing my whole house plumbing bid. My first thought was they are going to make me buy everything from them to get the good deal on the tub but that wasn’t the case. I did buy many items for the house but I guess since they didn’t actually stock the tub, they didn’t have anything in it so some money is better than no $$ at all!!

Glad you found your perfect tub. I like your built in shelves also

Thanks @roccouple! I decided to steal a few inches from hubbies big shower and it was a smart move. I only wish I’d have sown them in teak to warm up the space w more wood tones. I’m not done yet though as sometimes these things are a continuing project till it’s “perfect”-which is some of the fun. The joy of the hunt!!

@Kellie Smith, Kohler signature store offered it to me without asking and the salesperson said she will even do slightly better if my builder opens an account which he did. So, I'm getting 40-47% off the MSRP of all Kohler fixtures, tubs, toilets etc.. for my new construction.
