Sometimes if these fruits ripen properly you will get viable seeds. These varieties are hybrids as are most potatoes so what you will get is a crap shoot. If you like to experiment you might end up with a nice new variety. After all this is the way new varieties are created.

How the resultant seedlings would be different from the parent potatoes can only be discovered by growing them. But differ they will.

Be aware that these cherry potatoes, which are common on the tops of potato plants, are actually quite poisonous.

A word of warning about Gardening Knowhow as a source. The articles are frequently inaccurate and clearly written by people with little knowledge of their topic. The item at the link not only carries suspect information about removing potato flowers, it goes on, confusingly, to talk about ‘ornamental potatoes’, which are completely unrelated and gives garbled information about them too.

Just to reinforce floral's statement, I would not rely on any online plant information that did not originate from a qualified educational institution (those with an .edu suffix) or other scientifically based horticultural or agricultural source. And that eliminates 95% of anything on YouTube!!
