Blooms this week

The blooms have started In earnest this week, thankfully got some much needed rain.

FFE on Solar Blast this week. It was added as a single fane last season, four fans and two scapes now. I love this bloom, so different than anything else here.

Banshee Whisper started blooming this week. This is a great plant and Was a bonus, so glad I have it. It has multiplied nicely and bud count has increased.

Boy Crazy has finally settled in after being moved by me three times the past few years.

FFE on Red Suspenders. Good increase this season, went from 2 to 4 fans, has three scapes now. The bloom is huge.

A clump of Stephanie Return.

One of my new favorites, a good grower, Tall Dark Stranger.

A small clump of Destined to See.

FFO on Wanda Lou Lovely, she actually had two today, could only fit one in the photo.

    I always like Wanda Lou! You have so many lovelies here. I like Banshee Whisper-color and form. I really prefer the curling and twisting. Tall Dark Stranger has that great color you get. Nothing beats clump shots!!

    I like Solar blast, and Tall Dark Strangwer looks good, but my favorite is probably Stephanie Return.

    Yup, Wanda Lou Lovely ranks up there in the top of my list of "wish I had those daylilies " but does not appear to be available in Canada at least I haven't stumbled across it . Boy Crazy comes in next from these images. I really like Judy Davisson's daylilies , I grow several of her plants including a seedling I won on the lily auction a number of years ago and they do really well here. . I also like her names for plants. She has some imagination !

    Beautiful, Sherry! Things are starting to pop here too. Solar Blast is one I've thought of getting, I like the looks of it and it is definitely different. Tall Dark Stranger looks great too!

    We must have ordered from the same place, as I also received BANSHEE WHISPER as a bonus. Mine has been in pot for 2 or 3 years. I really need to get it planted. It does look nice. I also grow RED SUSPENDERS and it is an excellent plant.

    What a lovely bunch! Nice to see clumps already. And my two faves today are Boy Crazy and Banshee Whisper. Great bonus :)

    David, Banshee Whisper came from Oak Hill daylilies in central Illinois. Get it in the ground, you will be rewarded!
