It's Marilyn Monroe, Remember Me, Blue Jay and Autumn Frost. My friend Mimi, who's been keeping my last few hostas and heuchies in her Long Island backyard, sent the last 4 hostas down with her visiting son today. She had them on a picnic table in the shade and took wonderful care of them, as you can see. The 5 heuchies still under Mimi's care will have to remain in her care until I am able to buy a little house, because there isn't an additional square inch I could put them on my balcony!

Some of you folks wanted to see my Rainforest Sunrise, which has been on the bottom shelf of one of my wire shelving units. I finally went out on the balcony with my camera and leaned W-A-Y down to take a pic of it.

Mimi obviously took real good care of these guys.

Every garden needs a good guard cat. Zizu's on the job!

Wow, Ester your friend really HAS taken good care of your hostas! They all are beautiful..... I am particularly fond of Rainforest Sunrise and yours is a beauty! That is going on my list I think, if I can find the real estate! :-)

Debra, Rainforest Sunrise is one of the ones I've had since the fall when my friend brought the bulk of my hostas down from Long Island. It seems to like living in a fabric grow pot under a shelf. I've remarked before that virtually all my hostas seem to be doing better in the fabric grow pots than they did in my Queens garden. Maybe they like the 2:1 mix of container soil and coir, or maybe the roots like the fabric better. Who knows?

I don’t really know what a fabric grow bag is, except the ones I bought for veggies. Are they basically the same, just smaller size? Probably a dumb question.......ha
