This is our music room, which is at the front of the house. There is not much room on either side of the window due to the bookshelves, but I would like to add black curtain panels.
The issue is this upper window. I have not been able to find a light filtering Roman shade in this arched shape that is also black to the street, white to the inside.
Should I just cover the upper window another way? It isn’t a privacy issue, it’s more for aesthetics and because this room can get hot in the late afternoon. I don’t want to order the curtain panels until I have a clear vision for this top window.
