I'd like to update the curb appeal of my house. So I'm stuck currently in modernizing the look or keeping the originality of the California ranch Style. Is it possible to do both. I'm thinking though of removing the Slats and doing stucco and adding stone sidings. I played around with some draft look (not the really the final color or stone type).. just need to know what's the best beautiful solution.

Also, I love the shutter by the windows look and originally it's white, but wanting to change it to black. I have most of my samples below though without the Window shutters. I'll also entertain for the Antique Red Brick siding option.
