For function vs look, this rug is used to keep all our shoes when we come in… it gets pretty full!

Perhaps a basket to throw shoes in? It looks like you have an extra rug where the shoes get dropped on? Perhaps another one of those vs using the actual rug? Just trying to get both function and style.. what do you think of the geometric style? It comes in different sizes.

Hi everyone, going back to this room. We need to transform it into lounge area for 4 people. We have a huge sectional in the living room but this is where we mostly end up spending most of our time. Need something to balance out the room, put our feet up and somehow coordinate this existing barrel table where we collect wine corks and the existing rug. I want fabric vs leather. Thank you!

How about just 2 more of the same chairs? Perhaps an ottoman and use the barrel table as a side table for two of the chairs. Then a small cocktail style table for another chair. What did u do for the rug in entry, didn't hear back on that

I would like something more comfortable, bigger. And something to kick our feet up.

Or keep the green chairs in front of the fireplace with the barrel as a side table and on the opposite side this couch with a ottoman

I can fit a 72” sofa, if it has a sleeper, that’s even better

Seems like the sofa would be better only because it fits more people vs just two chairs and ottomans.

I think bigger chairs with ottoman would be more comfortable, even if there is just two, if they are wider, kids can fit too..

I love this, but not grey

Found it in this color too, reviews say it’s a warm grey, more like a greige

They are now on sale for black Friday, $899 for two, but nor sure how it will look with the round barrel

Chairs are perfect!!! So comfortable and big, we all fit here now. Room got crowded with a dog cage (we just got a dog this week) and the big plant which is temporarily here until we take the Christmas tree down.

Hello lovely Houzz community! Hope you are having a relaxing summer.

Looking to do something about our kitchen. Nothing major as far as changing cabinets or flooring, but I want new countertops, probably washout paint over backsplash, a bigger island, and new open shelves instead of the black ones. Do you have any suggestions? Ideally, I would like the wall around the existing island to go and make the countertop slightly bigger to fit one more stool. Excuse the mess :) thank you!

Are those granite countertops? And you don't like them? I know the white tile on that cabinet can be replaced with the color in the granite like a beige to match the floor too

Hmmm...where the drk floating shelf can remove & add a fold up narrow table for 2. Then 2 can be at kitchen opening.

Hello everyone! Back for advice on redoing our daughter’s bedroom. She is turning 11 and she’s over the pink. Looking to repaint the walls off-white, change the bed to beige upholstered , add a corner desk between the windows, keep the white nightstand and the dresser/mirror, and move the furniture around. Thinking the bed between closet and door, dresser where the bed is now, bookshelf’ where the bird picture is, and desk in the corner. Please let me know your ideas as well. Here are pictures of her room and I will add some photos of what else she liked. Thank you
