Currently in the middle - well almost the end - of a house build. We’ve recently noticed damp in some corners of the basement. Our contractor is saying due to heat and humidity, condensation is happening. Is this normal?

We are very concerned there is a problem with the foundation. Or, is it just because of the current heat wave, basement is much colder than main floor, windows open, and HVAC system has yet to be hooked up?

We would dearly appreciate some feedback on this......PLEASE 🙏
