Are you watering? Overhead/spray watering?

Hi Jim, the only water it takes is from the rain. It has been raining quite a bit in NC. maybe that could be the issue?

I think there are multiple issues going on but overhead watering - or rainfall - is not one of them :-) Can we see a close up photo of both the front and reverse of the highly affected leaves?

Alright, from the links I think you are spot on! Thx! Any suggestions as to how to treat these? I suppose I should start with an insecticide for lace bug and some fungicide for rust?

Good supposition :-)) But read the links carefully. The timing of any applications are critical. It may be too late to do much this season..........

Thank you for asking the question and all responses. I think my potted azaleas have the same problem - lace bug issues...These developed right after the flowers fell. I sprayed with various sprays and still have an issue. one is encore azalea, Will it bloom again this season?
