They are an older type and that might be the reason, but I really think it is the weather this year. It has been so weird. Unseasonably hot, then cold, Way too much rain, then none, then nonstop rain again.

Our weather was crazy too, but it didn't affect the big cabbages that I bought as plants. In fact, they look great.

I will look around here for seeds for either one, I don't go out much right now. I never thought of trying mine cabbage. In fact, I didn't know they existed.

Home Depot carries Bonnie Plants which Golden Cross is one, but you would have to buy a plant and that probably costs much more than shipping. If it were me, I'd buy 2 plants and let one go to seed, collect and use for next year.

I wouldn't order seeds from Reimer seed if they were the last seed vendor left on the planet. Buyer be ware with them!

I wondered about them, Reimer, when I tried to get to the cart to find out shipping. 7 no clicks later for assorted junk, I still hadn't got to the end. Deleted order and backed out!

I agree @LoneJack Zn 6a, KC Not only do they want your age sex and tons of info that no other seed place needs, it's like going through an informercial! Add this to your cart, and that, and so on! Plus they charge bank for shipping! STAY AWAY!!

laceyvail I have more Gonzales seed than I can use that I can send to you. it looks like the seed is from 2013 but I think it’s still good. It’s been stored in the refrigerator. If you can give me your address I will mail some to you.
