Wolf vs Cafe appliances

This may be a dumb question...

we are building semi custom. Wolf appliances are “included” (quotes because of course it’s an allowance based on number of appliances we buy). We currently have selected wolf M series wall oven and also the speed oven, as well as a 5 burner gas range. We also have a Bosch dishwasher. We would probably buy a Cafe fridge.

now I’m making myself nuts and really loving the cafe line, especially the French door wall oven. If I went with Cafe, I’d get the whole line as it all seems to have good review. Price wise it’s not a huge difference honestly between the two.

Any opinion/advice either way? I need to decide by Friday.

I don't have experience with these, but if it's mainly an aesthetic question, I prefer the look of the Cafe too :) The oven looks amazing. Choose the ones you would love to work with! Have you had the chance to see models for both things, to feel how the doors feel and so on? What are the controls like?

Advice on this forum is usually to pick appliances individually rather than package by a whole brand.

    Good luck!

I have the Cafe French Door double wall oven and Induction cooktop. Both are great. I have had them for just over 3 years without any issues and I use the oven at least 3-4 times a week.

I have the Cafe French Door single wall oven and I love it. Best oven I have ever owned! However I am not impressed with the Cafe dishwasher, in fact I do not like it and will probably replace it sooner than later. The plus is it is very quiet but I still haven't figured out a good loading pattern and I have to run it on the Pot setting to get things clean.

I love the look of French door ovens (always admired the ones from Bluestar) but I'm not sure if I'd like the need to use 2 hands to open; sometimes I have a pan in one hand and open the oven with the other. For those who have the French door ovens, was it an adjustment to get used to?

The Cafe only requires one hand to open and close. I often have a tray of cookies in hand while I close the doors. The doors operate in tandem and not independently. When closing with one hand the left door should be used.

thank you @boschboy - the doors operating in tandem makes sense for usability for sure

Hello mates, the ones who own cafe French door oven, can you post a pic of your setup, if ok with you?

I’m looking at buying a single French door oven and a 5-in-1 convection oven (that includes microwave setting). The issue is that this combination will put my 5-in-1 on top and the French door oven on the bottom.

The most of the pics I’ve seen all have French door oven on the top with another oven in the bottom.

I’m not sure what height settings should I level both, so that I’m neither raising my arms too high to use microwave nor I’m bending too much to use oven. Also, too low setting of French door oven may look really ugly.
