Do these two bar stools look completely different from each other?

Hey everyone,

My husband and I just purchased 2 bar stools from Ashley Homes. We think the one on the right has a more brown leatherette stain on it than the one on the left. We just want to know if it is obvious to you all. If it is obvious, do you think it's worth returning the brown leatherette stool and asking for the darker one that we expected (like the stool on the left)?

Return the stool on the right, since they look too different.

They do not look that different, so you should keep both stools

Take two photos - 1 each with the chairs in the opposite position. That way you can make sure it's not the lighting.

Did you switch them to make sure it isn't the lighting? Look at them outside too.

If you aren't happy return them. I would do it sooner, rather than later.

I see brown on right and a charcoal-ish shade on left.

There is no guarantee that you will ever get one to match the first one. Pairs need to be bought at the same time - otherwise the upholstery will probably come from different dye lots and will never match exactly. This is more true for leather than for leatherette, however.

Get a swatch before you return anything and make sure that the swatch matches inventory that is available.

I do not think the one of the left is darker - it is just a different hue.

I was also thinking that it could be the lighting--easy enough to double check by taking two photos with each chair in each position, as suggested above. But yeah, they definitely look different.
