Hot one today. 98 on my car thermometer.

Marked By Lydia: Consistent performer

SOUTH SEA ENCHANTMENT: A very nice pink. A parent to many of Bud Bennett's intros.

RUNAWAY ROMANCE: A Bud Bennett intro. At times, I almost think there is some blue in there. Whatever, it is a lovely shade of pink.

Eggplant Ecstasy: Parent of many Margo Reeds intros.

NAVAJO PONY: I like this one. Scapes hold the blooms.

Clarification: Reportedly a very good grandparent.

WISEST OF WIZARDS

PICOTEE DREAM: I love this older Benz intro. I love the edge no eye.

SUGAR CREAM PIE: I am trying to capture the polychrome digitally. Still not quite right.

Of course I like the pinks, but the form and edge on Sugar Cream Pie wins me over. It's hard to capture some daylilies nuances of color. They shift like passing clouds. Now you see them now you don't. ........I'm not a UF fan, but your picture of Navajo Pony is lovely. Love the pattern and symmetry..............Maryl

Yours are really coming along now. Wisest of Wizards has long been used in hybridizing. Navajo Pony here sometimes lax.

Lots of pretty ones posted here. Of course the pink Bennett draws me always! Picotee Dream is so delicate. Sugar Cream Pie is lovely. My heat next week: heat indexes of 110.

I love the color and form of Runaway Romance, and Sugar Cream Pie is the other one that really grabs me.
