Trim colour dilemma

Hello! I am getting conflicting advice so I thought I would ask here and see what you all have to say. I am renovating my bungalow from top to bottom, except for my kitchen which was done about 8 years ago. The cabinetry is IKEA (made to look built in) and takes up pretty much the entire room which is 8x12, and is the same as BM paper mache AF-25. Before I renovated all the trim in the house was Paper Mache.

So the question is, do I keep the trim paper mache, or do I go for a new white? Will it look weird if it's not all the same (I'm not interested in painting cabinets.)

For those who like details, I've attached an approximate new layout. I'm thinking white walls for the open concept part of the floor plan and will have very light white oak floors. I'm south east facing.
