Hi all. We are widening the walls/entrance to/from the dining room to our kitchen. We are considering couple options:

1. Leave refrigerator where it is. A sample picture i found of what it would look like is below but with a white “shaker cabinet” style wall.
2. Moving the refrigerator to the back left. Extending the counter where the fridge is currently and adding backsplash/two shelves on top (there would be no wall on the side of the shelf if that makes sense).

Here are some pictures of our kitchen currently. Sample pictures. And a quick idea of moving the fridge(but it would be pushed back a bit more and have the white box framing around it). Please let me know your thoughts! Thank you!!
