unknown clematis - ID guesses?

When out weeding and edging the south driveway border this morning, I found this little clematis :

The only blue clematis other than Clematis stans I've ever planted in that bed was Prince Charles - which disappeared after one year! This is a little cutie and I hope it survives there. Does it look like anything someone recognizes? Could it be a seedling from the C. stans or from the long-missing Prince Charles? The foliage (which can be seen in the above picture, behind DH's index finger) doesn't look like C. stans and I can't remember what the foliage of Prince Charles looked like. It looks like it's a scrambler not a twiner. Any guesses on what this might be?
