Big furniture, small room

The dimensions of our bedroom set are in the picture. I tried to put it together to the best of my abilities, but I don't like the fact that the bed covers half the window. Tried to make it so the bed was centered with the window, but then the side table doesn't fit.

The only way to make this very big bed (you probably have a big guy like i do) work in the small room - lose the side table - center the bed on the short wall - with 2' on either side of the bed you will need to find a 24" bedside table for the window wall. If you have other empty bedrooms, set one up as a dressing room with the bureau and hanging racks - spend the money for some closet sets and put them around the perimeter of the room. This room should only have your bed and perhaps a bench at the end of the bed. Looks like you have to go out to get to the bathroom, so you might as well go out to get dressed. Add hooks and robes to the back of your entry door. Hang swing arm lamps and art and drapery around the window so it feels like a sanctuary for sleeping. If you want a television, definitely hang it on the wall, and use a floating wall shelf for the component box - right under it - put it at eye level when you sit in bed and put the bench under it.

so the high-up window is on the 10' wall next to the closet doors?

and i assume that the 6' side of the bed is the head?

that is a huge bed for such a small room.

the side table, does it have drawers that must be accessed, or is it just shelves?
if it's only shelves, you can put the bed's 6' side centered on the 11' wall with the side table turned to fit on the side.
the bureau can go under the high window.

another question, which way does the door to the room open? it seems to be missing.
does it open out to the hall, or into the room?

if it's into the room, then we need to take door swing into account.

mm, i like libra's idea, if you've got the room.

if not, i would consider using the side table in another room, and getting 1 or 2 narrow storage tables (look in the bathroom storage stuff, actually. cabinets) for side tables for the bed.

You can move the bed under the big window...how high is the head board? You also can stack the side tables so you'll have left 1' to open the closet door ( bed 6 + side table 3 - 10' wall). This is temporary until you find narrower side tables.
