Probably Whitewell Purple. However, I’d consider the fact that the darker the flower the less visible it will be in grass. They close up unless in bright sunshine, so flowers with dark outsides to the petals disappear. They flower so early that they don’t really need to go with any other flower colour, so any colour is very welcome.

Yes, I'm wild and crazy, so I tried to collect every tommie variety that I could..and the whites show up best. Thus my favorite is a white with light purple stripes :0

Can dbarron and floral_uk z.8/9 SW UK or any one please share any photos that have a "true" representation of the color of the crocus they like? I'd love to see them! Like I was saying...so many color enhanced photos of crocus I can't tell what they really look like and if I'm going to buy and plant like 50 of them I want to be sure.

They're purple...maybe purplish pink..there's no blue in them. You're looking at a deceptive photo/supplier.
