You'll have to wait and see. My bet is its just temporary. I have a Curly Fries doing a similar thing. Fingers crossed for both of us.

I get leaves like that too, I just wait and see unless it’s clear it’s a reversion. Here’s some odd leaves I just took pictures of yesterday.

debra, I think that is cut worm damage, although there is usually more of it on the same plant. As I understand it, slug damage is a bunch of little holes, while cut worms leave big contiguous holes. I've never had slug damage, but regularly have cutworm damage. Sometimes, they will eat half of a leaf.

As a newbie, I used to go out at night with a flash light and pick them off. They generally reside just under the surface of the soil during the day, although there was one under a pot last week. They are caterpillars and only feed for a couple of weeks and are gone.
