Best best would be to use silicone where they meet. You can't use an epoxy like we normally do on stone counters because the wood needs to be able to expand and contract. The difficult thing is getting the wood and stone counters the same thickness. A lot of times the wood is thicker so there may be a lip where the two materials meet.
