Struggling with the same decision (Bosch vs ZLine 30" range) and came across your question. Which one did you go with? Would love to hear how it's going. Especially interested in hearing how the Zline oven performs (lots of complaints online) and ease of cleaning Bosch's SS top and Zline's black enamel top.

I went with Bosch because we got a great deal. haven't installed it yet, and won't until late Nov. sorry. the zline is much prettier IMHO.

I just bought a 30" Z Line dual fuel and installed 2 days ago and already miss my Bosch gas range that I left in the house sale. My fans in the oven run all the time in any bake mode. Can't find a answer if this is how it suppose to operate. If so I will be returning it. .FYI..Just remember Zline in a marketing company not a true company that's why you see no show rooms. Bosch only build quality. With that said a lot of people seem quite happy once the bugs are worked out.

I wanted to love this range. Unfortunately, it has been a serious health and safety issue from day one.

Our original unit was part of a recall. ZLINE offered either a replacement or a refund, and we chose the replacement because we genuinely liked the design and features. That turned out to be a mistake.

The replacement unit exhibits the same caustic, chemical-like odor as the recalled stove. When the oven is in use, it produces fumes that cause immediate eye burning and irritation. This does not happen when the stovetop burners are used and does not happen when the unit is off. There is no gas smell and no leak. The problem only occurs when the oven is operating, which strongly suggests a combustion or exhaust defect in the oven itself.

Because of this, we have effectively stopped using the oven altogether. On the rare occasions we attempt to use it, we are forced to open windows and skylights to ventilate the house. That is not normal, safe, or acceptable for a residential appliance, especially in winter.

We have now gone through:

• A recall

• A full replacement

• The same unresolved safety issue

ZLINE has refused to provide a refund, despite previously confirming it was an option, and instead continues to deflect responsibility. At this point, the stove cannot be safely used in our home.

What stands out:

• Looks good on paper and in photos

• Completely unacceptable air quality and safety performance

What I dislike:

• Eye-burning fumes when the oven is on

• Recall replacement did not fix the problem

• Customer support unwilling to stand behind the product

How long we’ve had it:
Long enough to go through a recall and replacement and still have the same issue.

Does it meet expectations?
Absolutely not. A stove should not make your eyes burn or force you to ventilate your home just to use it.

If you value your health, indoor air quality, and peace of mind, do not buy this product.
