My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

What is the material of the sliding panels behind cooktop?

This is a gorgeous Kitchen space! Are the sliding panels on a track system? I would love more info....

    Thanks for asking! The sliding door material (including backsplash and hood detail) is Calacatta Bluette Marble and we used brass barn door hardware from Richelieu to allow the panels to slide. The hardware was not made for this purpose so we upgraded all of the fasteners to withstand the weight of the stone. I hope that helps, thanks!

    Thank you for the info on the sliding panels. Can you tell me what thickness is the marble? Did a frame need to be built or was the hardware fastened directly to the marble? Do you think granite or quartz could be used instead of marble? Thank you in advance!
