install and patio area needed for in ground pool

Looking to have an in ground pool installed.
I have not found many resources online and just spoke to a pool installed who will be here in a few weeks. I have a 35-70 area and was hoping to have close to 16-32 pool installed. How large of the surround patio do people recommend/use? Would love to hear some feedback from others. Also looking at a salt system As well
