Suggestions for Fireplace

I am redoing my fireplace. I have added a book shelf to each site and will be adding white brick to the entire fireplace. I’m debating on whether or not to add a a rustic wood mantel or the white mantel as shown in this pic. My design is very similar to this pic with the exception of my bookshelves not having cabinets at the bottom. Your thoughts would be much appreciated. Thank you

I think I would keep the shelf white and add your color with decor.

Hi Marnae,

Being that you have already decided to go with an all white theme, I have attached a photo and link of one of our non-combustible mantles that I think would like great with what you're envisioning for your end project. This modern, white mantle is made of durable fiberglass reinforced Supercast concrete and can be placed where a lot of other materials cannot.
