How Much for a Hot Mop?

So I guess the consensus is that we need to demo our beautiful shower, install a new hot mopped shower pan and then a base, and then retile the walk-in shower. We live in the LA area. Any idea on cost to do this, minus of course the tile?

Hot Mopping is pretty much an exclusive California technique. While I guess it might work, it is antiquated as far as showers go. Messy, smelly and out of date. I prefer a Schluter "Kerdi" installation and has been accepted in all States...with the exception of Cali. Move into the 21st Century......

Call APM or Ojeda showerpans, they will lead you to a tiler.

To answer your question, we got hot mop and new shower four years ago for $6500 as part of our master bath remodel. That isn’t including shower door or any plumbing, electrical or painting. The hot mop was only $400 on the estimate, the rest was tiling labor (part was bathroom floor)through a general contractor.
