Training Wisteria as a Tree (Standard)

I just bought this wisteria and I would like to train it as a tree, the very bottom is thick but quickly splits to 4 semi-thick vines. It's already attached to a post. I'm not sure if I should leave the whole "trunk" alone or cut all but one. If so which?

will it be planted in mother earth ... or remain potted .. or will you repot it ...

if you wanted one trunk.. why did you buy one with 4 trunks??? .. perhaps a bargain??

i would like to see the whole plant.. before i would opine as to trunk removal ...

Thanks for the reply. For now it Will remain potted since I rent, once I own my home it'll be planted. If I need to start training it now while potted I'd like to do that.

I'm open to its look, if the 4 Will continue to grow thicker and years down the line fuse, I'm also fine with that.

I bought this one because it's the only one I could find in my area.

I'll take a picture of it as a whole in a bit and post it.

As for type, it's a Caroline Wisteria.
