Hmmm, since the drawer sides will probably be rubbing against the body of the vanity I might suggest a fairly heavy coat of polyurethane - several coats actually to build up some thickness. That's an awesome idea btw!

Yes, you can use just about any sealer on chalk paint, but a water based poly will give you the best results. Keep the poly off the drawer slides so they move freely, or they will be difficult to open.

Kaye thx for the advice. so what are you telling me to use on the sides of the drawers? Can i use the artisan sealer over the scrapbook paper?

Mod pod is a glue and sealer in one. Make sure the paper is really glued down well in all spots ; it looks like a couple areas are a bit loose. You can top coat it with a water based poly if you choose for added protection. I would use a satin.
