Lighting Design Dilemma Bathrooms

Bathroom Vanity Lights...Advice needed!

I would love to give my bathroom vanity lights a face lift, but I am having trouble deciding on what to replace them with. Any suggestions?? My bathroom tile is sort of beige-terracotta and cabinets are light gray, counter tops are quartzite (faux marble look). Would love to get some feedback!

Before buying anything, carefully remove the fixtures to see where the electrical boxes behind them are. I assume that these fixtures are centered on the sinks and that you would want new fixtures to be installed the same way. In my bathroom, I removed the fixtures only to discover that the electrical boxes were offset because the vent pipes -- centered on the sink -- were in the way. The builders had installed wide fixtures like yours to accommodate the offsets. Replacing the old fixtures with replacements was a big hassle; I actually had to install them on the (new), tall mirrors.

You don't seem to have much space between the mirror and the ceiling - Do you want the light to come down over the mirror? Take a look at www.shadesoflight.com to see if you can find something that you like. They have a lot of bath vanity lighting. We don't know what your style is.

WD is on point, a lot of older home bathrooms they didn't center the outlet... these backplates which were popular allowed them to shift it around if you will.

I also want to say, if you had the right shape bulbs in there (G25) in a 3500K you would really increase the light quality and the look... they may work for you then.
