Looks like the Snowberry Clearwing. Hemaris diffinis. That first pic is great.

In the first photo, the lighter colored legs and relatively thick marginal band on the hindwing would indicate H thysbe (Hummingbird Clearwing) rather than H diffinis. Here's a helpful link

Yes! Thank you so much! From a distance I thought they were hummingbirds because they were hovering, but then I noticed the antennae.

This is the first year my Monarda is blooming and I've already had many visitors - hummingbird moths, hummingbirds, and tiger swallowtails - not to mention a million bees!
