looking for advice: color to paint/stain outside shutters and bench

Shutters rebuilt several times; won't hold a stain;' gets full sun. What color paint them? Or remove them for good? bench is blah; blends in with brick; change bench or paint?roof in pix looks greener than
it really is; more like a gray green shade.
