(Sigh) I hope you heard wrong :o My new GE dryer has a steam option. So far the only thing I've used it on is my husband's work t-shirts (if I didn't take them out of the dryer soon enough and they wrinkle). It works and he likes how they look. So if he's happy, I'm happy :)

We have an Electrolux dryer with steam. Only use it to de-wrinkle something that I didn't get folded and put away in time, or an occasional sanitize cycle. No problem so far.

I have the Electrolux dryer with steam also. Love, love the steam. I use it frequently. Mostly to remove wrinkles from certain clothes which wrinkle after washing, like certain cottons and rayons.

As the poster above said, its fantastic removing wrinkles from clothes you left in the dryer too long.

My machine has a timed dry feature. If I've left clothes in the dryer too long, I'll run a 'timed dry with steam' for 15 minutes and the clothes come out perfectly!
