Wonderful Jeri, I'm delighted you're pleased with her... as of course I am too.. mine is in full bloom at the moment... I can't say it's disease free in my climate but the black spot is minor for the time of year..

It appears it's the initial post in a thread you mush "follow" instead of "like". I can "like" the succeeding posts in the thread. Another weird programming fart from the gassiest site I'm aware of.

Exactly. I don't know what "follow" gets me though. I 'follow' by commenting.

So far, "following" gets zilch. No notices of further comments, nada. It's as if I'm unsubscribed from everything.

Great pictures Jeri! This rose looks fantastic. Also, I second Kim's complaint about the inability to "like" a post anymore. Sometimes I just drop in and want to express appreciation for something someone posted without actually leaving a full comment! Come on Houzz!

Stephanie, she was also my Unicorn. I pursued her for years, under the name 'Noella Nabonnand.' She's still not a mature rose, but already she makes my heart sing.

Is this rose as delicately coloured as you pictures appear? I love the lighter reverse.

Vapor, yes, the color variations really are that subtle. Moreover, it blooms on very long laterals, and it looks like it has an excellent vase life, so -- were I still an exhibitor -- I would be taking a look at that aspect of it.d

On the downside, I don't think the blooms like really harsh afternoon sun on a hot summer day. But then -- neither do I!
