Can you share some pictures of your space?

not certain what is going on w everything but the backsplash appears a peach or taupe shade ..... so the contrast is making a bit of warmth in cabs appear even more so. (Yellow ish ) if possible a backsplash in a bone white ( match the flour in canister) w removal of the 4 in piece would steer you where you want to go. The paint issue will be easier. It’s just hard to tell : I don’t know about lighting and all in real life , as to what things appear in person.

Backsplash is a muddy tone . Ceiling is a stark white . Sandwiched in between are the cabs w nice paint but veering warm and thus even warmer w those surfaces. You can tint ceiling paint and not sure what you can or are willing to do about backsplash but the wall paint is not the only factor . If the wall paint project proceeds I would go for a bone neutral off white and do the ceiling . It can be a shade or 2 lighter than the walls .
