You could do cafe curtains and shades. Cafe curtains obscure enough of the view that no one at ground level will see anything but your ceiling. I use them on all of my upstairs windows with plain roller shades to control light when I want to sleep in late.

You do not appear to have sufficient relief for an inside mount for any window treatment. There is no room on the side for a "stack" of drapery either. You can get an combination of plantation shutter arrangement where the door would have a set mounted to door accommodating the door knob and the windows would have some sliding type shutters. It is going to take a custom approach. Terrible design for this wall area. Sorry for that. If you are short on cash and need privacy, you might be able to get a couple of the Rice Paper decorative screens that you can place across this span leaving room for air circulation. If you don't need privacy, concentrate on furnishings and leave the windows and door without treatment.
