Will my Diamond Brite pool get darker?

I just had my gunite pool replastered with Diamond Brite Super Blue a few days ago. However, it looks nothing like any of the Super Blue pictures that I saw and made my color decision based on. The color in my pool looks more like a light aqua color. Will the finish get darker over time? I'm including a picture of what Super Blue is supposed to look like....a bright blue with no green tint.
