I am not sure what the issue is it does not appear to be much space for doors to come into the the room why not doulble up the hanging space on the one side and have the other side for toy stroage then it won’’t matter to just leave it . IMO you need better organization not different doors and is this the only clothes storage becuase most of what I see could be in drawers.

well yes we were going to have the closet customized but it cost 1,000. we wanted to put his current dresser inside the closet instead until we were ready to spend the money but it's a long dresser not a chest style. so we would have to buy a new dresser as well.

its 100% needs to be organized but trying to figure out the most cost effective way of doing it. I still hate those doors though 😁 lol

also the BIGGEST thing is getting the dresser our of the room. his room is pretty small and we would like everything in the closet. just his bed and desk on the actual room floor space. but then that leads back to his current dresser wont fit in the closet

It would be cheaper to rearrange shelves in a bookcase, look at units from IKEA, use a second hand high boy and place one or two rods between it and the wall, or head to Home Depot for shelving, etc and configure based on needs.

You’ll save on new doors and/or expensive closet organizer and also get rid of dresser in room as well. Down the road when needs change, it’s an easy fix.
