Wow, you've got a bit of a time capsule there! Can you remove the wet bar and leave the plumbing? That way someone in the future could add back a kitchenette or something.

I think resale will actually be better without it and in the meantime, you enjoy a room that works for you.

I'd look for a way to make the space work for me and still keep the ability to reinstall a wet bar.

Trying to think of a way to keep the plumbing work and “hide” it somehow to be able to use at a later date.

It looks like the wet bar is made of the same paneling, so there should be material available for a patch, if needed. Just cut and cap the water pipe and drain several inches from the wall, not all the way back to the wall.

I'd keep the back section against the wall for storage, but remove the bar area. If you're looking to increase your sale price in the future, I'd paint a warm white on the pine rather than grey. Grey is dated already, and isn't a great color for wood.

Regarding the color I was told to paint the walls benjamin Moore silver grey, which looks more like a light blue. Would a linen white be a better option than the blue?

This is what the color looks like so far. But if it’s going to be outdated already I am fine with buying a new paint color and doing this over!

I asked them to keep the panels from the bar to patch the plumbing. And I’m keeping the back of the Bar for storage. Thank you - all - for your comments!!!

With the countertop and floor colors, a warm white would have been better for the walls - but it's probably not worth repainting if you've already finished it. I'd wait to get your room set up with furnishings and then decide whether repainting is worthwhile.
