Need help choosing new front door for remodel

I'm currently remodeling the front/entrance to my home. This includes;

1. Replacing the front door and sidelights

2. Tearing off the old rotted front deck and adding a new deck or patio

3. Possibly replace the siding on the front of the house

I come across so many awesome remodels and before and after pictures online but I can't visualize what to do when it comes to remodeling my own home. Are there any creative people or exterior designers out there that could lend a hand and help me make my home look more inviting? Please share your thoughts on;

1. What door/sidelight combo i should go with. Also what colors to use.

2. Choose between building a new deck or having a concrete patio put in with steps going to the door.

3. Any siding ideas, I'm thinking of replacing the dutchlap with board and batten, just on the front side of the house and using the same color as the rest of the siding?

I would look into having pored concrete front steps. I think the natural rise is 7 inches, so you only need two. See the two above pictures the landing is below the threshold of the door. So your first step would be down 7 inches, then a step for another 7 inches then to the pavement for the final 7 inches. If your drop is less than 21 inches, then each riser would be less. If it is mor you will have to add another step.

The other alternative is to build a deck about 7 inches (or less) below the threshold and then build steps to the side of the deck to meet up with the walk.

If you do board and batten, just do the front side where the door is and leave the rest of the front lap siding. I think it will look strange to have the front one way and the sides another. This way it looks like a feature.

Thanks for taking the time to post! I really like the solid door with sidelights and it's the one I've been leaning towards.I like the concrete steps idea as far as looks go. I do wonder if it would be awkward that the sidewalk meets with the side of the steps rather than leading to the first step. Maybe a landing would fix this?I circled the area I would change the siding at. Is this the only area you think the board and batten should be installed? See picture below

This is the latest door I configured. the side lights have the blinds between the glass. it's not as asthetically pleasing as the other options but it gives you the option of choosing between letting natural light in and privacy.
