Color and design help for tired split level. Boring no more!!

Help! We are replacing aluminum siding with certainteed vinyl siding. Shutters or no shutters? do we make it look more mcm? Or should I keep shutters and just incorporate cedar window boxes And make it more traditional? I was thinking of no shutters with picture frame windows.
I don’t want to paint the brick and I can’t afford to replace large picture window at this time. we are also replacing garage door, not sure of color.
I was leaning towards cypress green for siding. but, I’m open to anything at all.
We have nice landscaping, but it’s just so boring right now. Please help oh houzz design gurus...
