We have lots of fun with this plant each year. It is one of the few annuals we grow from seed, pushed directly into the ground in May. By late July it is in flower. This time we have it in a container.

Love yours in a pot! I have one against the house (I am in NJ) that has come up for years although it is now heavily shaded so doesn't look great these past few years. Photos from plants from seed this year. A colorful fun annual.

6 years agoJust took this photo at 12:30p and most flowers are still open -- there's a long strip of them along the north side of the house.
