I really like the bold color choice for the wall, i just think it needs a little more boldness to go with it, perhaps a new rug... here's a fun rug.

possibly curtain panels on each side of all the windows in a black and white pattern and a brass curtain rod?

I realize you are on a budget, but just wanted to mention as well that the chandelier is getting hidden by the wall color, may want to consider something that isn't see thru

Hi Beverly, the chairs are gray actually. I purchased here at Houzz. And the wall is a dark teal. The rest of the house is equally bright during the day. I have big windows opposite this dining area. At night though, it’s very dark. I have high ceilings past this dining area.

Thanks for the suggestion! That was my initial direction but I became afraid to go that dark. I did swatches but I think I’ll just have to paint the whole wall to see the effect! Lol

The blue just needs something else in the room to relate with it. You can find a rug that has the blue in it, or look for large pieces of art for your beige walls that have some of the stronger colors. Either way, I would remove or replace the rug, which is too small.

Janna one thing I do is take the original paint used and tint it with craft acrylics until I get the color right. then I bring a big swatch painted on cardboard to the paint store and and ask them to color match it.
